The NECA/IBEW Joint Training Program...
the guarantee of skilled, qualified workers

To ensure that high standards of safety, skills, knowledge and workmanship are maintained, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the IBEW jointly direct three training programs at our Apprenticeship Training Center in Chelsea, MI:

1. The 5-year "Inside Wireman" apprenticeship program
2. The 3-year "Residential Wireman" apprenticeship program
3. The 3-year "Voice, Data, Video" apprenticeship program

Each of these programs is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.

In both the classroom and the jobsite, trainees learn from experienced journeyman electricians. Training covers classroom instruction and hands-on experience in every area of wiring and electricity, from simple installations to digital controllers, and from fiber optics to advanced communication systems.

When you hire union, you hire experience, expertise, and the most qualified workers available.
