Annual NECA Convention and Trade Show Heads to Austin, Texas

Registration has begun for this year’s National Electrical Contractors Association Convention and Trade Show in Austin, October 15-18. Numerous educational offerings, North America’s largest electrical construction trade show, wonderful keynote speakers, networking opportunities and fun entertainment are all in store for attendees.

Informative learning and discussion sessions on topics such as recruiting and retaining employees, business best practices, the latest in technology, financial management and so much more are on the schedule. Hybrid learning is an option this year to ensure that every attendee can access content on-demand after the convention. With several education sessions running simultaneously, time needed to attend the trade show and socializing with colleagues, it can be difficult to make it to everything in person, but hybrid means you’ll be able to do it all.

The Trade Show gives attendees the chance to speak directly to manufacturers of everything needed when it comes to power, light, energy and communication technology. Products, services and customized solutions for all aspects of your business will be on hand from over 300 exhibitors. The trade show offers the chance to discover the newest products, plus education workshops on leadership, technology and contractor solutions. When you’re ready to relax, have some fun and network, there’s hanging out at the Sports Zone, listening to music at the Songbird Café, bidding in the silent auction and even the chance to play with puppies at the Pause for Paws petting park.

Special guests and keynote speakers this year include Hall of Fame NFL running back and entrepreneur Emmitt Smith, Scott Pelley of 60 Minutes, and more, including industry experts. Chances to network and socialize with colleagues from near and far will abound, including at concerts and other exciting engagements.

The need for skilled electrical contractors is on the rise, along with advancements in technology. The NECA Convention and Trade Show gives electrical contractors the chance to connect with one another for support, new ideas and the latest trends.
