IBEW Local 252 and NECA will donate $25,200 to the Yankee Air Museum on Friday for its Save the Bomber Plant effort. The museum is raising funds for renovation work required to transform the Bomber Plant into the future new home of the Yankee Air Museum.
To completely renovate the structure, move the museum into its new home and add a permanent home for the historic aircraft collection, a total of $3 million is needed through 2020, with another $20 million needed to complete the project. About $12 million has been raised so far.
IBEW 252 and NECA are committed to doing their part to ensure this historic site is restored and preserved for generations to come and are encouraging others to do the same.
